I still love me some Lohan. It's so sad, but I cannot help it. I've always had a soft spot for her, she's one of those who I felt never really had a chance and is legit talented so it's even more tragic.

Lately I have realized that she probably cannot truly come back. Her face is busted beyond repair from the smoking/surgery and her voice is like, gone, and HER MIND MUST BE TOTALLY ADDLED. It's so, so frustrating and sad because she was SUCH a talented and vibrant actress, and SO BEAUTIFUL in such an unusual way.

I did up until recently, but her face is just SO busted and her voice is basically a record scratch - I guess she could come back and play cougars even though she is only 23? Still, obviously I would be so, so overjoyed if she were able to.

Auuuugh, it makes me so sad because I think she really had potential -- she was talented and gorgeous and had that spark -- and now she's just such a real disaster that it's heartbreaking. Every day I hold out hope that she'll find a way to make a comeback, but every day it seems less and less possible. So. :(

Exactly. This has been the worst year yet for her, and she has no support system so I don't see how she can escape from this. UGH at her horrible famewhore parents and surely nonexistent true friends.

It's so sad. I think she continues to surround herself with people that are legitimately banking on not only how she screws herself up even more but profiting from it as well - which continues to keep her on her trainwrecking path. I mean, we really won't know what kind of actress she is because I feel like she's really never been able to have her proper chance.

Definitely. Maybe this is naive but I feel like if she had any true friends, they would be doing something about this. She is out of control. And her parents, my god, her situation could not be worse. I don't like to make assumptions about families but Dina and Michael are completely transparent about the kind of people they are.

It truly makes me so sad. She was actually talented! Really. Truly.

I can't even mock her anymore. It's become just like Britney Spears. I love Britney but I LOLED at her bullshit but then it became almost...like, I was "making fun" of someone who was, say, mentally disabled or something. It made me feel bad, and Lindsay Lohan is on the same wavelength now. I JUST WANT SOMEONE TO TAKE HER AWAY AND HELP HER. :(

I keep holding out hope that she'll eventually pull a Britney by getting it together and getting back on track. She really was talented and unique. But it seems so unlikely... it's like she has no one looking out for her. Her family seems pretty messed up, I doubt she has many real friends. It's heartbreaking.

TBH I don't think Britney can be totally better right now, I think her dad forced her into that album/tour and that it was a mistake to try to get someone that unhealthy back into the swing of a career that big so soon. But at least she has a family member who DOES do something about it, so.

Me and my mom were talking about this today, actually. The Parent Trap is now the SADDEST MOVIE EVER. What with Natasha Richardson and Lohan. I see Lindsey today and think about that and then Mean Girls and get ridiculously sad and nostalgic.

I LOVED Lindsay so much. The Parent Trap is my favorite but I loved Freaky Friday, Mean Girls, EVEN CONFESSIONS OF TEENAGE DRAMA QUEEN. Oh and Herbie, I just genuinely thought she was so talented and it sucks what happened to her because if she stayed on track I can only imagine the kinds of things she'd be doing right now.

I read one of her interviews the other day, for what IDK, I just know the photos were taken in her messy hotel room, and it made me so, so sad. She sounded so lost and just...it's so obvious she has no idea what she's doing anymore. IT BROKE MY HEART. I loved her so much growing up, I will admit that I own both of her CDs and sort of enjoy them.

The last thing I saw her in was Bobby and she was just so sweet and wonderful and talented in it and it makes me so, so sad.

I remember when I first saw The Parent Trap when I was 10 years old I loved her so much. If someone asked me who my favourite actress was back then I actually used to say her, and when I look at her now I can't even believe it's the same person. The last picture I saw of her she actually looked like she'd had lip injections and she just looked horrible. I'm so sad for her :(

When I was little I watched the Parent Trap legit EVERY SINGLE DAY for like a month, I was OBSESSED. Lindsay makes me so sad now because I honestly don't think that she can be helped at this point. I mean, maybe if she had people around her that were looking out for her, but if she did then she wouldn't have gotten there in the first place, so. Her parents are the worst kind of despicable people. And the most horrible part is, HAVE YOU SEEN HER SISTER? She's turning into her too and it's so fucking scary.

I used to loooove the Parent Trap--my sister and I did multiple rewindings of our VHS in order to learn that handshake the British twin does with her Butler dude!

Poor, poor Lindsay!
