o1. FARAH - you might be studying or going to bed early or whatever people do on MCAT eve, but if you see this: I WILL BE THINKING OF YOU ALL DAY TOMORROW, and I know you will do smashingly. You were born for this stuff, buddy.

o2. I'm a madman, I'm on a roll, I'm going off the deep end, whatever you want to term it, but THIS IS ANOTHER TWW PICSPAM. With a very specific purpose. That purpose is to get the people who I seem to have convinced to start watching the show SUPER, SUPER stoked about it.  More stoked than they already are. (a secondary purpose is to convince the people who have expressed interest, a third purpose is to pique the interest of those who don't feel the pull) For this reason, there are no spoilers in this picspam. Just pretty pretty screen caps.

o3. I invite you to enjoy this with a particular song in the background. For some reason, I've found (in my vast experience resulting from...today) that Kanye's new song, stronger, is perfect for TWW picspams. It's also just a SICK JAM.

I KNOOOOOOOOOOW I WANT TO MARRY IT TOO. the cinematography scares me; they were so innovative. Doesn't hurt that Rob's jawline is as sharp as a knife, makes for some very good profile shots.

So today I drove past Blockbuster and SERIOUSLY CONSIDERED going inside and renting disk 1 of season 1 just to SEE if I like it or anything. You and your highly convincing picspams and capslock gushing! Did you borrow the dvds from someone? Or did you rent them or download them or something? Because if I were to start watching this, I would have to figure out how to get it somehow.

Also, I have a question about the general plot of the show: I know that the show is obviously about the White House and thus politics, but would I still find it interesting if I don't find politics all that interesting? I do love Bradley Whitford...

OMG REALLY?!!?! That makes me so happy.

I asked for the full series for my birthday so I was all set. You might be able to download them, I'm not sure. I'd go with renting though.

I don't find politics all that interesting either. Don't worry, it's more about the relationships and the characters. Well, okay, that's not entirely true. There is a decent amount of policy/politics in each episode, but the way it's written is interesting (except in s5 and 6 in my opinion). K, I want to type this thing out but I'll just refer you to the comment I responded to [info]xshorty24x with, above. THAT is what the show is about, and it is also why you should watch it.

Yes, that is my favorite episode as well, and I am laughing right now thinking about that line. IT IS TIMED SO PERFECTLY WITH THE SMACK OF THE WOOD ON THE RAILING. AAAAAAHAHA. nice, Schiff, nice.

First of all? Best description of TWW, and why the ENTIRE WORLD should watch it, EVER.
Okay, some fragmented, random thoughts in no particular order (I'll try to be as un-spoilery as possible):
1) THERE IS SO MUCH PRETTY HERE!
2) That cap of Josh with blood on his hand always makes me think of Yo Yo Ma and sirens and...I'm being too specific! But I've always LOVED that entire section of the series. Just...everything that deals with...that...event.
3) AHAHAHA, Schiff, stop making me laugh hysterically at your freakout!
4) Have I mentioned how much I love Sam's clothes?
5) I absolutely love the lighting in...crap, I forget the episode title, but it's that one that made me go "Wait, Kate and Will? What just happened?" while grinning.
6) YEAH I'M STILL HERE. Enough said.
7) This show makes me giddy and grin-y and I need to get my Sam Seaborn picspam finished ASAP.

2) the line that killed me in that episode (Which btw is my second favorite after 20 hours in America) was Stanley's Josh...what happened to your hand?, the last time he asks it. The way he says it all slow and dramatic, it's SO EPIC.
3) I will never not laugh at that scene.
4) DUDE CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW SAM HAS 'SNS' EMBROIDERED ON HIS SHIRT POCKETS?! the costume department is genius.
5) YES THE LIGHTING IN THAT IS PERFECT, I love those dangly light things at the party as well as the lighting related to the actual cinematography. AND I HAD THE SAME REACTION because I totally did not see Kate/Will coming, but then once I thought about it, I totally came on board (OH GOD. ON BOARD. ELECTION DAY PART 1 I WANT TO HAVE A PARADE IN YOUR HONOR.)
6) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
7) PLEASE FINISH THAT PLEASE FINISH THAT!

This is the one show in the world of shows that I get my friends hooked on. Like really hooked on. I love it all so much and now your picspam has left me tempted to rewatch the series from the beginning.

Yes I am hooking my friends on it as well! So far they are on s1, but they're definitely into it and I think we're having a s2 marathon this weekend. Dude you should totally rewatch, TWW is one of those shows where you find new things to delight in every time.

Oh man, BEST SHOW EVER.

I'd forgotten how much I loved this show. And how gorgeous every moment was. Your recap of what makes the show so worth watching? Spot-on PERFECT. Ah I have to go start rewatching AGAIN!

PS> as much as I loved Josh and Donna seeing the grabs of Sam and Donna I remembered how much I loved the two of THEM together. Remember when she was the only one Sam was genuinely glad to see in Cali? He was so *happy* when he saw her. And they used to have such great convo's. Well okay two that I remember but they were great!

Yes rewatch! I'm doing the same thing!

I looooove the Sam and Donna friendship. and OH GOD when Sam sees her in Cali and says "This is one of my best friends!" and then fires that one dude?! SO GREAT. But aaah, I don't know if I agree that she was the only one he was happy to see, because I feel like Sam loves them all so much (his admiration for Toby is on my top5 favorite TWW related things).

But yeah, Sam and Donna had great conversations. I think they're such a great example of the kind of platonic relationship more shows should include.

Hi, I found your picspam through [info]corellianjedi. Thanks so much for the picspam! I never watched the West Wing but I heard that it's incredible. Some of those shots are gorgeous, like the one with the military lined up--they really draw your eye into the picture.

Thanks also for uploading Kanye's new song! It kicks ass that he sampled Daft Punk's "Harder Better Faster Stronger"--if you haven't heard the original, you have to find it. It's on their album called "Discovery". Where'd you find the song? I heard that Bittersweet is FINALLY going to be released (I'm a huge John Mayer fan). I was also really excited that Jon Brion produced his last album because he is a musical genius.

anyway, thank you, I'm glad you liked it! And yeah, TWW has amaaaaazing cinematography. You should watch it, it is completely incredible and probably impossible to dislike.

and YES, I have heard the original daft punk version! I don't really like DP but that song is pretty cool. I can't quite remember but I probably found the song on hype machine. Also: Jon Brion! And I like John Mayer too but I must admit to finding Bittersweet boooooooring.
