o2. I'm a madman, I'm on a roll, I'm going off the deep end, whatever you want to term it, but THIS IS ANOTHER TWW PICSPAM. With a very specific purpose. That purpose is to get the people who I seem to have convinced to start watching the show SUPER, SUPER stoked about it.  More stoked than they already are. (a secondary purpose is to convince the people who have expressed interest, a third purpose is to pique the interest of those who don't feel the pull) For this reason, there are no spoilers in this picspam. Just pretty pretty screen caps.

o3. I invite you to enjoy this with a particular song in the background. For some reason, I've found (in my vast experience resulting from...today) that Kanye's new song, stronger, is perfect for TWW picspams. It's also just a SICK JAM.

Question: Why should I watch The West Wing?
Answer: Because it's about loving your country, loving your friends, and loving your family.  It's about duty, nobility, loyalty, sacrifice, kindness, and above all: DOING THE RIGHT THING. It's idealistic and optimistic and so, so overwhelmingly affecting. The majority of the episodes were written by a genius (creator of the show, Aaron Sorkin), the dialogue is snappy and witty and sparkling and ALIVE. The cast is pitch perfect, the characters are unique and fascinating, and you truly do love every single one of them. It's funny, it's smart, it's heartbreaking. It's about the kind of world we should be living in and I have never, ever felt so compelled to pass a show along to everyone I've ever spoken to.

JOSH AND DONNA JOSH AND DONNA! I have made a picspam of Season Seven, the sexy parts (dude, I TOTALLY am cool with the first person who makes the semi-lame yet legit comment that every part is sexy, because helloooooooo Brad Whitford). But yeah. I saw Waitress yesterday and the first thought that came to mind was "wow, this movie has even more kissing than West Wing season seven!" And lo, this was born. Except I am just now realizing that I left that one on the plane out. So, imagine that one.

I should have just made this a J/D retrospective but holy jesus that would be SO LONG. So, in parts maybe? But Sam's next, because the longer I hold off on rolled up sleeves and naive idealism in the form of the most adorable man on the PLANET, the more frustrated I become.

Oh also, I just wanted to say, and also I'm wondering what everyone else imagined for this as well: I'd seen screen caps of the kiss from The Cold ahead of time, and it looked like a very dramatic, romantic, painful, delicate kiss. I imagined it happening after a fight, maybe, and a confession of some sort. So WHOA was I surprised not only by the spontanaeity of it but the fact that it occurred during the COLD OPEN!
